School Uniforms
While Tai Wānanga does not have an official daily school uniform, we do have specific, formal attire known as the “Number One Uniform.” This uniform is worn by all taiohi for formal occasions, ceremonies, EOTC trips and special events. There is a slight distinction for our Manutai.
Number One Uniform (All Students)
This smart, formal uniform consists of:
Girls:
- Black knee-length skirt
- Black stockings
- Black dress shoes
- School polo shirt
Boys:
- Black dress pants
- School polo shirt
- Black dress shoes
- Black socks
Sports
Tai Wānanga ki Ruakura has introduced a dedicated sports uniform for students who represent our school in local, regional, and national sporting competitions. This uniform allows our athletes to proudly and professionally represent our school when competing.
Whānau are responsible for purchasing this uniform. It is required only for students who participate in competitive school sports teams.
How to Order
Sports uniforms are ordered twice a year: once in February and once in August.
